Larnaca district court issued remand orders against three men arrested for various burglaries in Larnaca.

Police arrested two people on Friday, aged 25 and 20, for a series of burglaries in Aradippou, Kiti and Larnaca.

The court issued six-day remand orders against both suspects.

The two people are suspected of breaking into two houses on December 4 and 26, 2024, stealing a total of €1,050.

The 25-year-old also appears to be involved in two more burglaries of houses on December 11, 2024, and January 2, 2025, in Larnaca, from which a total of €300 was stolen, as well as an attempted burglary on January 2, also in Larnaca.

Police also said they had arrested a 44-year-old on Friday in connection with a December 30 burglary in Larnaca, in which various valuables had been stolen, including jewellery, watches and gold sovereigns.

The court issued a four-day remand order against the suspect.

A 49-year-old is already in custody for the same case.

Police are continuing investigations.
