President Nikos Christodoulides announced on Wednesday that his administration’s annual press conference, reviewing the past year’s work, will be held in early March.
Addressing the start of a Cabinet meeting, the president reiterated that the state’s 2025 priorities had been presented last week, both collectively and by each minister.
He stressed that these priorities are rooted in the administration’s pre-election programme, which he described as the government’s “social contract with the Cypriot people.”
Christodoulides urged ministers to remain accountable and to focus daily on delivering the commitments made to the public. “In the first week of March we will hold a press conference […] to present the 2024 report,” he said.
“We announced 88 policies on January 29, 2024, [including] reforms and works. In the first week of March we will thus offer our report on the basis of accountability and transparency, the hallmarks of this administration,” Christodoulides added.
The president added that, beyond the 88 announced policies, the report will also cover additional measures and actions taken by the government.
