A Larnaca kiosk was robbed early on Saturday morning, after three hooded individuals walked in and stole €1,000.

Larnaca police spokesman Christodoulous Konsolos said there was one employee working at 3:50am when the suspects walked in.

The employee was verbally threatened and the robbers took the cash till, which contained €1,000.

The three left on foot in different directions.

Konsolos said an arrest warrant will be issued for one of the individuals, believed to be involved in the robbery.

By early afternoon on Saturday, police said an 18-year-old Larnaca resident had been arrested.
