A taste of French elegance by the sea
Nestled within the luxurious grounds of Limassol’s Parklane, Limassol, La Petite Maison Restaurant & Bar offers more than just a meal – it delivers a curated experience of French-Mediterranean finesse, set against the backdrop of the Cyprus coastline. A recent visit for brunch confirmed that this global brand, renowned for its sophisticated flair, has seamlessly woven its signature charm into the island’s vibrant culinary scene.
From the moment you step onto the terrace, LPM captivates. The outdoor setting with its crisp white tablecloths complemented by tasteful displays of regionally sourced vegetables, fruits and bottles of olive oil is nothing short of marvellous. It’s a nod to Provence with a Cypriot heartbeat, blending rustic authenticity with polished sophistication.
First to catch the eye is the Chef’s Table, an intimate four-seater reserved for bespoke dining experiences. Here, talented chef Panos Petrou, whose passion radiates through every dish, curates a personalised menu for those seeking something truly special. Alongside him, charismatic general manager of LPM Sergio Machado, ensures that service flows as smoothly as the signature Miraval Petite Fleur Champagne, which was poured generously throughout our brunch.

The menu is a celebration of delicate flavours and French culinary artistry. We began with a selection of hors d’oeuvres – the Sea Bass Carpaccio with Calamansi Vinaigrette was a standout, its citrus notes gracefully evident on the palate. The Avocado Toast on Focaccia brought a Mediterranean touch, while the inclusion of Escargots de Bourgogne reminded diners of LPM’s Parisian roots.
For the main course, the Grilled Sea Bream with Sauce Vierge was perfectly executed – flaky, tender and adorned with a light yet flavourful sauce. The Œufs Bénédicte au Homard offered a luxurious twist on a brunch classic, pairing lobster with silky hollandaise atop a toasted muffin.
Accompaniments like the Roasted Pee-Wee Potatoes with Parmesan and Fresh Herbs elevated simplicity to an art form.
Dessert was no afterthought. The Belgian Waffles with Fresh Berries and Mascarpone Chantilly were indulgent yet balanced, while a surprise birthday plate for me, inscribed with ‘Happy Birthday Freda’, showcased LPM’s attention to personal touches.
Drinks at LPM deserve their own praise. The cocktail and mocktail list is inventive, with the Black Lemonade offering a refreshing, slightly mysterious twist, and the Tomatini signature cocktail – available both with and without alcohol – delivering a burst of Mediterranean freshness.
What truly sets LPM apart is its service. The staff, under Sergio’s attentive eye, were professional, warm and effortlessly efficient. Every detail, from the placement of cutlery to the timing of each course, was handled with precision, enhancing an already exquisite culinary journey.
LPM at Parklane Limassol is a masterclass in how to deliver a refined dining experience without pretension. It is elegant, sophisticated and deeply rooted in a philosophy of quality – from its French-inspired menu to its idyllic setting by the sea. Whether you’re seeking a leisurely brunch, a special celebration at the Chef’s Table, an extraordinary dinner or simply a place to sip a beautifully crafted cocktail as the sea breeze whispers through the palms, LPM is a destination worth savouring.
Highly recommended for those who appreciate the art of fine dining in a setting that marries French chic with Mediterranean soul.
