On Tuesday, the weather will be overwhelmingly cloudy. Isolated rain showers and storms are expected in the higher mountains in the afternoon, with snow likely to fall.
Temperatures will range from up to 17 degrees Celsius on the coast to to15 degrees inland and reach around 7 degrees in the higher mountains.
A total of 17 cm of snow was recorded in the Troodos Mountains this morning.
Mild winds will blow mainly southwesterly at 3 Beaufort and increase to strong winds in the afternoon, reaching up to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly rough to rough.
Tonight, the weather will remain mostly cloudy. Local rains and isolated rains are expected and there will be snow in the higher mountains.
Temperatures will drop to 9 degrees Celsius on the coast, 7 degrees inland and around 3 degrees in the higher mountains, where frost is expected to form locally.
Winds will blow mainly southwest at up to 5 Beaufort and the sea will be rough.
The weather will remain partly cloudy until the end of the week. Rain and thunder is expected inland, while snow or sleet may occur in the higher mountains.
A slight drop in temperature is expected on Wednesday, followed by a gradual rise from Thursday.
