The prevailing rainy weather conditions have resulted in an accumulation of water, slippery road surfaces and limited visibility along the Limassol-Paphos highway near Paramali since the early hours of Monday.

According to the police, the conditions have been observed since 7.15am and are currently affecting traffic on the motorway, as well as the wider road network.

The police are urging drivers to exercise particular caution, drive slowly, maintain a safe distance and ensure their vehicle lights are switched on.
