Storm Erminio, the low-pressure barometric system that moved from Sicily towards the Eastern Mediterranean, bringing heavy rainfall and high concentrations of Saharan dust to Cyprus, will begin subsiding on Thursday, with a noticeable improvement from noon onwards.
Winds will be a southeast gentle to moderate breeze of 3 to 4 Beaufort, and at times a moderate to fresh breeze of 4 to 5 Beaufort, over moderate seas.
Temperatures will reach 21C inland, 23C along the coast and 14C in the highest mountains.
Thursday night will be cloudy.
Winds will be a southwest gentle to moderate breeze of 3 to 4 Beaufort, over slight to moderate seas.
Temperatures will drop to 9C inland, 11C along the coast and 5C in the highest mountains.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be cloudy at times, with local showers and isolated thunderstorms.
Temperatures will gradually drop to below the seasonal average over the weekend.
