Police are investigating the robbery of a 29-year-old food delivery driver in Nicosia.

Authorities said the incident took place at around 5.20pm on Wednesday while the delivery driver was carrying out a food order.

The victim was allegedly attacked by two unidentified individuals, who managed to steal a sum of money and his mobile phone before fleeing the scene on his motorcycle.

The circumstances surrounding the attack are under investigation.
