Limassol police on Monday arrested a man in connection with the possession of cannabis, cocaine and ecstasy with intent to supply.

Officers searched the apartment of a 27-year-old man at around 6.30pm under a court order.

They found 50 grammes of dry cannabis, 15.5 grammes of cannabis leaves, nine grammes of cocaine and three grammes of what are believed to be ecstasy pills.

They also discovered two cannabis plants with a height of 120 and 30 centimetres in a makeshift greenhouse, a precision scale, as well as the sum of €12,420 which was confiscated.

During the search, a 32-year-old man arrived at the apartment in whose possession a small amount of cannabis and an ecstasy pill were found, which the 27-year-old had allegedly given to him.

Both men were arrested. The 32-year-old was questioned and released while the younger man is being detained.
