Man critical after buggy overturns

A man is in critical condition in Nicosia hospital after a buggy he was driving overturned on Sunday in the village of Mammari in the Nicosia district.

The 35-year-old lost control of the vehicle at around 4.30pm.

He was badly injured when the buggy overturned in a field.

The man was taken to Nicosia general hospital by ambulance and diagnosed with two fractured vertebrae.
