Cyprus’ official music video ‘El Diablo’, the country’s Eurovision song contest entry for this year, was released on Wednesday.

The song is performed by Greek singer Elena Tsagrinou. State broadcaster CybC had announced back in November that it had chosen Tsagrinou to represent Cyprus in this year’s Eurovision song contest set to take place in May in Rotterdam, in the Netherlands.

The video clip was released by CyBC and record label Panik Records. “We gave our hearts, and I really gave my all for this music video clip,” Tsagrinou said on social media when she announced the release of the video.

‘El Diablo’ was written by the world-renowned songwriters and producers Thomas Stengaard, Jimmy “Joker” Thornfeldt, Laurell Barker and Oxa. The music video was directed by George Mpenioudakis.

The fashion creations presented in the video are signed and designed by the internationally acclaimed Greek fashion designer Celia Kritharioti while the choreography is by American Chali Jennings.

The video, which premiered  on the afternoon show of CyBC’s Happy Hour’ will be exclusively available on Panik’s website, www.panikmusic.gr, as well as on the app for Panik Music  until the night time of Saturday February 27.

‘El Diablo’ will be released on all digital platforms on February 28.
