ΕΜΒΟΛΙΑΣΜΟΙ ΚΑΤΑ ΤΟΥ covid 19

Persons who work or are planning to work for the upcoming parliamentary elections on May 30 will have the opportunity to be vaccinated against the coronavirus, regardless of their age, the election commissioner announced on Tuesday.

“The purpose of this arrangement is to provide full vaccination coverage of Covid-19 for staff who will work in preparation for the elections, as well as on election day, which will facilitate the whole process,” the announcement said.

“It will be an additional precautionary measure, both for the staff themselves and for the voters. It is stressed that option for vaccination of this staff is not mandatory.”

Those working for the elections will be informed by the election commission in order to arrange for the vaccinations.

“All procedures related to the elections will be carried out on the basis of relevant protocols of the Ministry of Health, in order to ensure the health of both the staff who will work and the citizens who will exercise their right to vote,” the announcement concluded.
