Police booked two establishments and 110 individuals for breaching coronavirus protocols in 24 hours from 6am on Thursday until 6am on Friday.

10,028 premises and individuals were checked during this time.

The details per district are as follows:

Nicosia: 2,006 checks, 34 individuals, 1 establishment booked

Limassol: 2,145 checks, 41 individuals, 1 business booked

Larnaca: 1,381 checks, 10 persons booked

Paphos: 1,132 checks, 14 booked

Famagusta: 989 checks, 3 booked

Morphou: 455 checks, no violations recorded

Traffic police conducted 1,894 inspections and fined eight individuals.
