Drunk driver hits parked car, swears at police

A 50-year-old was arrested on Sunday night after driving into a parked vehicle in a parking lot in Yeroskipou, Paphos.

According to the police, the man was drunk when officers arrived on the scene shortly after the incident. He swore at them and refused to co-operate.

He was arrested and taken to the holding cells at the Polis Chrysochous police station.

The charges he faces are swearing at a police officer, causing a traffic accident while drunk, and resisting arrest.
