The consumer association said Monday it has received numerous complaints regarding the postponement of the Celine Dion concert and the organisers’ refusal to refund money to those who will not be attending on the new date.

Ticket sales started in October 2019 with the concert scheduled for August 2020. The Covid pandemic forced the organisers to postpone the event until June 2021 and again recently until June 2023.

“Because of the continuous postponements and the lengthy period until the concert in 2023, they justifiably ask for their money back,” the consumer association said in a statement.

However, the association has received a lot of complaints over the postponements and the fact that the organisers do not return the money to those who cannot attend or do not want to attend the concert for other reasons.

The association asked consumers who want a refund to provide their name and contact number or email, along with the number of tickets and their value to [email protected]
