Creamy, healthy home-made tahini

Who doesn’t love creamy, tasty tahini? And do you know how satisfying it can be to make yourself?

In this video, nutritionist Alyssa Rimmer of the Simply Quinoa YouTube channel demos not only a great basic recipe to consume as a dip, but also suggests four ways of integrating tahini into other creations.

Tahini, the Mediterranean condiment, is made from toasted, ground hulled sesame, and is versatile enough to be served by itself as a dip, or as a major ingredient in hummus, baba ghanoush and halva.

Plus, it comes packed with nutrients, and is associated with several benefits, including improved heart health, reduced inflammation, and potential cancer-fighting effects.

So, why not whip up some homemade tahini yourself, and open up a world of savoury and sweet treats for you and your loved ones?
