Greek singer Yiannis Ploutarchos will sing live at an upcoming event organised by Karaiskakio Foundation to mark its 25th anniversary.

The NGO has called on people to book their tickets for the Charity Gala Dinner for Life, an annual event which this year becomes even more special as it will also mark Karaiskakio’s 25 year of operation in Cyprus.

The dinner is due to take place at 8pm on September 8 at the house of Fotini Papadopoulou in Strakka. Papadopoulou was married to the former president Tasos Papadopoulos and is an active member of the Cyprus Red Cross.

The event will be held under the auspices of Foreign Minister Nikos Christodoulides.

According to Karaiskakio, there will be live music with the one of the most popular Greek laiko singer Yiannis Ploutarchos.

Most of his work is in Greek, while some of Ploutarchos’ most recent projects include Italian lyrics. As of February 24, he is one of the four judges of the Greek talent reality show House of Fame.
