Teen stress from a teenager’s perspective

Much is said about the alarming levels of stress being experienced by today’s teens, members of Generation Z. In this video, we confront some of the issues that make life so challenging for today’s youth, from the perspective of 18-year-old Michaela Horn.

In this TEDx speech, Michaela shares how a simple experiment to discover what raises the stress levels among fellow high school students caused an alarming turn of events to unfold, with sobering results.

Members of Gen Z (people born between 1997-2012), understand they are growing up in an age of increased stress and anxiety, and they are prioritising finding ways of managing their mental health.
