Music and cocktails on the rooftop

A new spot in the old town is keeping Limassol residents entertained with coffees, cocktails, wines and music. Well, new spot might not be entirely accurate as the Rooftop Bar at the Limassol Agora opened in 2020 yet given the year that has passed, I think it is fair to say this a new entry into Limassol nightlife.

At the Rooftop Bar, the old town’s sights are in full view. Located in the fully renovated Agora, the bar  offers everything from groovy music, a coffee during the day or a sparkling signature cocktail during the evening. Its menu boasts platters, salads, pasta, burgers and all the usual choices, along with brunch and of course plenty of spirits and cocktails.

Every week, the bar hosts several DJs on its decks. This July 21 and every Wednesday, an event called Tradition Electronica Wednesdays will bring global sounds to the Limassol bar. Traditional ethnic tunes by DJ Kosta Kritikos with afro, Latin and shamanic beats will immerse visitors in the mood of the evening while sushi and cheese platters will be available after 7pm. A few days later, on Saturday 24, it’s time for Local Heroes-Local DJs, a weekly event that invites Cypriot DJs to blast popular tunes from the international music scene.
