Hip-hop home sweet home: inside Drake’s $20m Hidden Hills compound

Drake is becoming the hip-hop king of epic real estate. His $100-million, custom-built Toronto mega-mansion is breathtakingly lavish, but then, so is his massive California property – the subject of this video.

The YOLO Estate in Hidden Hills shows off the rapper’s eccentric style with a secret master bedroom that can only be accessed with a hidden switch, a massive pool complete with a waterslide and waterfalls, as well as an entire man-made grotto.

While Drake bought the home for $7.7 million, the lavish property was listed for $20 million in 2017. However, the listing wasn’t intentional. Still, the mansion may now be worth even more given all the opulent renovations.

The compound’s interior features such extravagances as a game room, a cinema and a wine cellar with its own tasting room. In fact, Drake’s mansion is packed with entertainment options, including tennis courts and even a mechanical bull.

So, why did Aubrey Drake Graham decide on a home in Hidden Hills? It probably wasn’t a hard choice for someone whose net worth is estimated at $180 million. Hidden Hills is a gated community that’s home to many other celebs – like the Kardashians, Kanye West, French Montana and The Weeknd.

Meanwhile, with so much space and seclusion, Drake has even begun expanding, buying up multi-million dollar properties nearby.
