Paphos police are investigating one more case of forgery after the arrest of an African man at Paphos airport.

According to police, the man was arrested on Wednesday at the airport as he was preparing to depart for Bologna, Italy, after showing a forged Luxembourg residence permit.

It also appears that the features of the residence permit do not correspond to an authentic document.

The man was arrested and taken into custody. During interrogation he made some allegations that are being investigated by Paphos CID.

Authorities have in recent weeks arrested numerous individuals who tried to fly to other EU countries using fake documents.
