Following the success of its summer campaign to attract domestic tourism, the Paphos regional board of tourism announced that it will be extending its inbound tourism promotion for a further three months into the autumn season.

The island-wide promotion includes a targeted social media campaign, supported by the ministry of tourism, focusing on the Paphos region as a primary choice for Cypriot travellers and permanent residents.

A statement released by the board said, “the September-November period is ideal for families, couples and visitors to take advantage of the region for a short weekend getaway, public holiday, and full day trip.”

“The district of Paphos offers a wide range of accommodation at competitive prices and invites visitors to explore the incomparable beauty of the Akamas, the crystal-clear waters embracing the villages of Neo Chorio, Latchi, Argaka, Pomos and Pyrgos Tyllirias, as well as the region’s wine villages, archaeological sites, scenic countryside and incredible hospitality,” said Nasos Hadjigeorgiou, head of the Paphos regional board of tourism.

The “extended summer” campaign will feature online and radio competitions with incredible giveaways that include free accommodation and services.
