A total of 41 migrants, including 10 minors, arrived in Kato Pyrgos Tyllirias, police said early on Friday.

The migrants were spotted in two vessels in the sea off Kato Pyrgos Tylirias around 2.30am on Friday.

A boat of the port police attempted to reach the targets, but the migrants were found onshore in a coastal area of Kato Pyrgos.

Of the 41 migrants, 24 were men, seven were women and ten were underage children, including three infants.

Police said the irregular migrants will be transferred to Pournara reception centre as asylum seekers.
