A Hellenic Bank volunteer team recently participated in the Let’s Do It Cyprus campaign, organising a clean-up of Athalassa National Forest Park on October 31.

In addition to the Bank’s donation towards the campaign, Hellenic’s volunteers took part in the park event with the slogan #stoxerisou, and the goal of helping to bring about change. In addition, a related action by Hellenic’s team was their recent coastal clean-up of Zygi beach.

The volunteerism is in keeping with Hellenic’s Corporate Social Responsibility strategy, in support of environmentally-friendly practices and sustainable development.

The Let’s Do It Cyprus campaign has brought together over 40,000 active citizens in Cyprus, aiming to clear the island of litter, establish greater environmental awareness in society, engage citizens via green volunteerism and actively support the eco-education of students.

The Together Volunteer Network was established in Cyprus in cooperation with the Commissioner for the Environment.
