Police and the fire department are investigating the arson of two Game Service vehicles in the Limassol area of Mesa Gitonia.

According to a statement released by the police, the fire broke out at around 2am on Thursday. Firefighters were immediately dispatched to the area to extinguish it.

However, when they arrived on the scene, they found that the flames had already engulfed the vehicles.

Further investigations carried out at the scene revealed that the perpetrator or perpetrators used liquid flammable material to set the vehicles on fire.

The case is being investigated by Limassol CID, which is currently examining footage from security cameras installed in the area.

Authorities are also looking at recent cases of poachers and hunters reported to the Game Service, to narrow down the list of suspects and identify the culprits.
