Covid vaccinations in Athienou on Saturday

Athienou Municipality announced Thursday that Covid vaccinations will be taking place on Saturday at the village.

In a written statement, the municipality said that to help residents who want to be vaccinated against the coronavirus the health ministry arranged for a mobile unit to visit the village on Saturday.

“A total of 444 people have registered to be vaccinated, while the interest is great,” the statement said.

The vaccination drive concerned people of all ages who will be receiving first and second doses, as well as booster shots.

The vaccinations will start at 8.30am at the new health centre.
