Coronavirus: Earlier booster jab appointments from Wednesday

As of Wednesday, the vaccinations portal will be open for booster jab appointments for people who have completed their vaccination regimen five months and two weeks ago, the health ministry said.

The ministry recalls that cabinet this week has approved a proposal for reducing the waiting period for a booster jab from six months to five months and two weeks.

Those interested will be able to book appointments through the vaccinations portal from Wednesday or they can go to the walk-ins.

The deputy ministry for innovation also announced that, people who have received their booster jabs are now able to reissue their EU digital Covid certificate to include their third dose.

For the certificate to include the updated information regarding the third dose, people will have to reissue it through the platform www.eudcc.gov.cy .
