Police booked ten individuals and five businesses for Covid violations between 6am Saturday and 6am on Sunday during 2,627 checks.

There were 1,097 inspections in Nicosia with no bookings.

In Limassol 310 inspections were carried out with two individuals and two businesses fined.

Another booking was made in Larnaca from 414 checks and in Paphos 130 inspections yielded three fines.
Famagusta district saw 482 checks with seven individuals booked.

The fines concerned cases where there was no SafePass control and another with too many people on the premise. A bakery was fined because a staff member did not have a SafePass.

Also, islandwide, traffic police carried out 83 inspections without any bookings.
