Motorcyclist critical after Limassol accident

A motorcyclist, 31, is in critical condition at the Nicosia General Hospital after suffering head injures in the early hours of Sunday when he crashed his vehicle into two parked cars.

The accident happened around 2.30am on Petrarchi Street in Limassol, when the rider lost control of the motorbike and crashed into a parked car. The bike overturned and then crashed into a second parked car.

The injured man was taken by ambulance to Limassol General Hospital, where he was found to have suffered a severe craniocerebral injuries.

Due to the seriousness of his condition, he was transferred to Nicosia.

According to the treating doctors, his health condition is considered is critical.

Limassol police is investigating the causes of the accident.
