The health ministry announced on Monday that inspections at workplaces would begin on December 29 to ensure employees have their Covid papers.

The ministry said all employees who have had two jabs are required to submit a negative test once a week.

People who have had three shots are exempt from testing.

Vaccine-free employees must produce either a 72-hour PCR test or a 48-hour rapid test using the QR code or CovScan.

“The inspections by the competent services will begin on December 29,” the ministry said.

It added that each organisation, company, enterprise, could set a specific day on which vaccinated employees will be checked for their weekly rapid test.

‘Control of the people who undergo rapid test on a weekly basis will be done by displaying a text message or presenting their result in printed form,” the ministry said.

For vaccinated or Covid-recovered or those exempt from vaccination, the rapid test is provided free of charge at the sampling points.

This also applies to people who have received at least one dose and have not reached the period required to take the second dose.
