Two stopped for drug driving in Paphos

Paphos police have reported two motorists for driving under the influence of drugs in two separate cases on Sunday.

Offices carrying out routine checks on Apostolos Pavlos Avenue at around midnight, booked a 35-year-old man after he tested positive for drugs. The man was also carrying a small quantity of cannabis.

Earlier, at around 1.20pm, officers stopped a car driven by a 20-year-old on the same road who also tested positive for drugs.

The cases were being investigated by traffic police together with the drug squad.
