A 24-year-old man was arrested late on Sunday over a case of illegal possession, dissemination and offering access to child pornography.

Police said the investigation began following information received from Europol, according to which a specific user of a social networking platform uploaded three videos of sexual abuse of minors.

On Sunday a search was carried out at the man’s residence where two mobile phones and a computer were located and taken away as evidence.

The case is being investigated by the cybercrime unit.
