Police on Thursday said they have fined five individuals for violating coronavirus measures after 1,503 checks over the last 24 hours.
Two people were booked in Larnaca after 309 inspections, one in Paphos after 87 checks and two more in Famagusta after 351 checks.
No violations were reported in Nicosia, Limassol or Morphou, police said.
Traffic, marine and port police also conducted 157 and 19 checks respectively, without any bookings.
