A 26-year-old man has been arrested for possession of child pornography, police said on Saturday.

According to a written announcement, an arrest warrant was issued against the suspect after the police cybercrime unit received information from Europol saying he had uploaded online five files depicting the sexual assault of children.

The suspect was taken into custody on Friday, and police seized a mobile phone, a laptop and two tablets, which will be subject to further checks.

Police found another laptop at the 26-year-old’s house, which has also been seized.

The cybercrime unit will continue its investigation.
