Cyprus reopens embassy in Kyiv, Cypriot citizens there invited to leave

The foreign ministry on Monday said that from Tuesday, the gradual reopening of Cyprus’ embassy in Kyiv would begin.

However, the ministry’s travel directive issued on February 15, in which the  it advises Cypriot citizens to avoid traveling to Ukraine, remains in force.

In addition, Cypriot citizens permanently residing and / or temporarily residing in Ukraine are invited to leave the country.
