In today’s episode, Health Minister Michalis Hadjipantelas expressed his full support to the family of the young man who suffered burns to 45 per cent of his body during violent incidents involving football fans over the weekend in Larnaca.

Elsewhere, the House education committee began discussions on longer school days and future plans for all-day schools.

In other news, Presidential candidate Giorgos Kolokasides said that Cyprus still suffers from the remnants of English colonial rule and plans for Queen Elizabeth’s jubilee must be cancelled.
