Parked car in Strovolos completely destroyed by fire

A fire broke out shortly after 1am in the early hours of Monday in a car parked in Strovolos.

According to a police spokesman, members the fire brigade rushed to the scene and extinguished the fire, which had by then completely destroyed the vehicle

The car was worth €15,000, according to its 52-year-old owner.

The scene was put under guard and investigations are being carried out by the Nicosia police and fire brigade to determine the exact causes of the fire.
