Woman wanted in connection with kiosk robbery

Paphos police are looking for a 23-year-old woman in connection with a theft from a kiosk in Chlorakas after a 27-year-old woman was remanded in custody for two days in connection with the same case.

“Last Friday night a kiosk owner in Chlorakas reported that at noon of the same day, two women entered the kiosk and stole various objects, with a total value of €585 and then fled,” head of Paphos CID Michalis Nicolaou said.

The women’s theft was recorded by a closed surveillance circuit at the kiosk. “The inspection of the CCTV footage identified the two suspects, aged 23 and 27, and issued arrest warrants were issued against them,” Nicolaou said.
