A man has been hospitalised in serious condition after he was hit by a bus on the Nicosia-Limassol highway, police said on Wednesday.
The accident occurred a few minutes after 2am on Wednesday, when the bus hit the man as was walking on the highway near Pera Chorio Nisou.
As a result, police closed off both lanes of the motorway until 6.30am, urging drivers to use the old Nicosia to Limassol road.
