A 27-year-old woman and two 19-year-olds from Paphos were arrested on Monday evening on suspicion of illegal possession of property and assault weapons, police said Tuesday.

Paphos police stopped the vehicle for a check and found four knives and a retractable baton. A set of keys, a car key as well as an electric skateboard were also found for which the suspects did not produce a good explanation as to how they came in their possession.

Moreover, three bank cheques for various amounts of money were found in the possession of the 27-year-old, police added.
