Police on Friday arrested a 38-year-old and a 35-year-old man who allegedly attacked a 32-year-old man last Saturday night when he spotted them damaging a vehicle.

According to police, the 32-year-old man noticed the two persons near a car parked outside his home, while one of them was causing damage to the vehicle using a sharp object. After the 32-year-old approached the suspects, they attacked him and fled when someone familiar to the victim approached the scene.

The 32-year-old was taken to Limassol General Hospital where it was found that he had injuries to his nose and chest and was discharged last Monday, while on Tuesday he reported the incident to Limassol CID.

Arrest warrants were issued against the 38-year-old and the 35-year-old and they were located and arrested by Limassol police, shortly before noon on Friday and taken into custody.

Offences of causing grievous bodily harm, malicious damage to property and conspiracy to commit a felony are being investigated against them.
