Pensioner pulled out of the sea dead in Oroklini

75-year-old overseas Cypriot Loucas Georgiou was found floating unconscious on Thursday in the sea of Oroklini, Larnaca, police announced on Friday.

According to police, he was found unconscious and taken to land, where he was given first aid.

He was transferred to the Larnaca general hospital where he was pronounced dead by medical staff on duty.

Police said that there were no external injuries to his body.

A post-mortem is due to be carried out on Friday at Larnaca hospital.
