Police find cache of 4,000 bullets in Paphos

A cache of about 4,000 bullets was discovered by the authorities in an open field in Paphos on Friday evening at about 6:45pm, police said.

Paphos police found the cache after members of the district’s drug squad (Ykan) received a tip-off. The bullets are reportedly 9mm.

No further details were immediately available but it was stated that the bullets were taken in as evidence and investigations are ongoing.
