Fourteen tons of bulgur wheat was given to the Church of Cyprus on Tuesday by the Pancyprian Committee of wheat producers, to be headed on to the needy.

Quantities are then delivered to all towns in Cyprus to be distributed according to need, president of the wheat producers, Kyriakos Kailas said.

He said that a similar donation is made through the Archbishopric every year.

The wheat was offered by ordinary producers, while the contribution is not only from the producers but also the manufacturers.

For this purpose, the wheat farmers cooperate with the Kepola brothers and the Lisko company.
