President Nicos Anastasiades

President Nicos Anastasiades will be returning to his duties after testing negative for Covid-19, it was announced on Wednesday.

The president tested positive for the virus last Tuesday during routine tests, while his wife Andri Anastasiades had tested positive a few days prior.

In a written statement, government spokesman Marios Pelekanos said that after testing negative on Wednesday, Anastasiades would be returning to his public commitments after abstaining from them in line with health protocols.
