Archbishop Chrysostomos in Israel for medical examinations

Archbishop Chrysostomos

Archbishop Chrysostomos is in Israel for specialised medical examinations it was announced on Thursday.

The Bishop of Karpasia, following speculative media reports told CNA that the health of the Church Primate “remains stable and there is no negative development”.

The Archbishop is scheduled to return to Cyprus next week, the bishop said.

He also said that Archbishop Chrysostomos was in good spirits and there was no cause for concern.

The reason no statement was released prior to the Archbishop’s trip was because no surgery was scheduled. It was a scheduled examination which the doctors had asked for, the bishop added.
