Car fire outside owner’s Larnaca home

Extensive damage to the front of a vehicle was caused by a fire that broke out in the early hours of Monday morning in a parked vehicle outside a home in Larnaca.

According a police statement the car fire broke out close to 3 am outside the home of its 22-year-old owner in Larnaca’s Kamares area. 

Fire fighters rushed to the scene and managed to put out the fire.

The fire caused extensive damages estimated at €9,000 to the vehicle.

The scene was cordoned off and investigations are ongoing to establish the exact cause of the fire.
