To best serve its customers and visitors, the Ayia Napa Marina management has announced it will enforce all regulations and best practices regarding the entry of animals into the Marina’s premises and facilities.

As such, the following rules apply:

  • Only pet cats and pet dogs are allowed to enter the Marina’s public and commercial areas. Prohibitions or restrictions may apply within commercial shop premises (indoor and outdoor, depending on the circumstance) per the rules and regulations of the respective business.
  • Any pet entering the Permitted Areas must be accompanied by its owner, or by a person holding the written authorisation of its owner.
  • Pets must be supervised at all times and kept on a leash if weighing over 6kg.
  • Pets should wear a muzzle if deemed necessary by the owner, especially if they have aggressive tendencies.
  • Pets must meet all the requirements of the applicable precautionary health measures against diseases and infections that may be spread due to their movement within the premises of the marina.
  • Pets are not allowed at the Marina’s west beach.
  • Pets weighing over 6kg are not permitted in the commercial shops / F&B outlets of the Marina’s promenade (waterfront).

The aforementioned rules do not apply to companion dogs accompanying individuals with disabilities within the Marina.

  • Every individual accompanying a pet within the Marina facilities bears sole responsibility for keeping the premises clean, by collecting and throwing away any animal waste in the provided bins.
  • On the request of Marina entry guards, health and/or veterinary authorities, pet owners or companions must be able to produce all necessary supporting and/or health documents related to the pet, including the pet passport and health booklet.
  • In accordance with the law, the pet owner and animal companion bear sole responsibility for any injury or death of any visitor or other pet caused by their own animal within the Marina premises.
  • The pet owner is also responsible for any damage to the property of any Marina visitor. M. M. Makronisos Marina Limited bears no responsibility for any loss, damage, injury, or death that may be caused by the entry and movement of a pet within the Marina premises.

The Ayia Napa Marina staff are always on hand to answer any questions or to provide further guidance. As such, do not hesitate to contact the security guards or the Control Room directly on +357-23-300500. You can also send questions, comments, or feedback of your experience to: [email protected]
