The fact finding mission of the European Parliament’s budget control committee (CONT) which was due to have begun in Cyprus on Monday to see how money from the bloc is spent has been postponed.

It was due to run for three days, from Monday to Wednesday.

According to the European Parliament’s office in Cyprus, it has been postponed because the president of the committee was unable to find a mission to come to the island.

So far no new dates have been arranged for the mission.
