The fire department on Wednesday issued an alert to the public that there would be an exercise taking place on Thursday at 9am in Paphos
The drill, a mock rescue, will take place near Tassos Papadopoulos Avenue (former Dimokratias), on the Limnaria riverbed.
“There will be a mobilisation of fire and police vehicles at the above time and date and there is absolutely no reason for concern for the public,” a statement said.
